How We Met
Unbeknownst to both Brenton and Chelsea, for three years, they lived two blocks away from each other on lower Queen Anne. As they moved forward in their lives, a few years later Brenton moved back to NY. About a month later, he got a call from a local Seattle company that brought him back shortly after. Brenton and Chelsea were dating the old fashion way, online. Each of them came close to giving up when one beautiful day in 2018, they both “swiped right” and the rest is history. The first date was magic. Between living so close to each other for years, and the universe pulling Brenton back to Seattle, it all feels like this ‘meet cute’ was supposed to happen.

The Proposal
New York is a special place to Brenton. He took Chelsea there for the first time in 2022. She felt the magic. Brenton always says that girls get all the fun stuff, so Chelsea wanted to beat him to the proposal to make him feel special. After that first NY trip, Chelsea knew there was one place it had to be…..the Brooklyn bridge. The next time they’d be in NY was October 2024. A confused and shocked Brenton was taken completely by surprised as Chelsea proposed, and he said yes.
